Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden :: NYC Beer Gardens
When New Yorkers think of Astoria, they think of Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. This is the oldest standing beer garden in New York, and it continues to serve beers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, Germany, and the US alongside traditional beer garden foods, all at incredibly reasonable prices. It's a good, down-home beer garden -- the kind you want to go to when you want to catch up with an old friend over the course of many hours.
In addition to serving up comfort food (and beer), Bohemian Hall hosts karaoke parties on Thursday nights from 7pm to 10pm, as well as occasional poker nights. The beer garden also has regular performances by local artists, as well as movie screenings. They update their website regularly with upcoming event information.
