La Birreria :: NYC Beer Gardens
La Birreira is the sleek, contemporary take on the beer garden craze, as imagined by Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich. The space is a rooftop restaurant and beer garden with fabulous views, simple Italian food, and an open, airy space dotted with orangey-red chairs.
The beer garden is part of Eately, a complex for shopping, learning, and eating. The founders collaborated with Dogfish Head, Baladin, and Del Borgo to brew unfiltured, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated cask ales right on the premises. These natural beers have garnered the attention of beer lovers throughout New York. And, of course, if you're in the mood for food, you're in for a treat, with everything from Italian favorites to traditional German pickled veggies and sausages.
